Fumigation

Barge Terminal Born and Fumico jointly offer Fumigation possibilities at the Terminal in Born. This Terminal is ideal for fumigation due the location close to the German Border and easily accessible via the Motorway (A2). 


Experienced personnel will take care of the containers at the terminal and will take care of the VGM and the preparation for Fumigation. Fumico will then complete the fumigation process including degassing of the containers. After fumigation, the containers can be transported, by Barge, directly to the deepsea terminals of Antwerp and Rotterdam.
